Is the vehicle only available chauffeur driven or can I hire it to drive myself?

Triple White Weddings only offer a chauffeur driven service.

How do I pay?

You can pay by cash, cheque, electronic transfer or BACS.

What geographical areas do you cover?

Standard hire is within a 30 mile radius from the vehicle’s base in Newton Longville. Please contact us if you live further away as we may be able to accommodate your request.

How long is the hire?

Standard hire is for 3 hours but we can accommodate longer bookings which will be subject to an hourly rate. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How many drop offs and pick ups can I have?

Standard bookings include either 1 pick up and 1 drop off point (home/hotel to venue), or 2 pick ups and 2 drop offs (home/hotel to venue then venue to reception). If you need more than this or want to transport other members of your wedding party please contact us to discuss your requirements.

How much deposit do I have to pay?

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the non-refundable deposit of £100 for the Beetles, £150 for the Campervan, (or £200 for two vehicles, £250 for three vehicles or £300 for four vehicles).

Full payment for the hire of the vehicle must be made no later than 4 weeks before your wedding date. If the balance is not paid by this date, your booking may be cancelled.

If, at the time of booking, your wedding date is less than 4 weeks away, payment in full will be required in order to confirm your booking.

How do I book?

Once you are happy that all the details on your quotation are correct, you must complete and return your signed booking form along with the deposit. Bookings are only confirmed on receipt of your deposit and signed booking form.

How do I know when my booking is confirmed?

When you have returned your signed booking form and deposit to us we will send you a confirmation email.

What happens if I’m running late on the day?

No problem, we understand that things sometimes take longer than anticipated and we are happy to wait for you. If your booking runs over the allocated 4 hours you will be charged for every full half hour extra that is needed.

What happens if my chauffeur doesn’t turn up?

There will never be an occasion when your chauffeur just doesn’t turn up. In the unlikely event that anything goes wrong we will contact you immediately to make alternative arrangements.

Can I have photos taken with the car?

Yes, you can have as many photos taken in or with the car as you wish, within the allocated booking time. All we ask is that you respect the vehicle to avoid any damage.

How many passengers does the vehicle carry?

The Beetles can carry up to 3 passengers, the campervan can carry up to 8 passengers and the T5 Caravelle can carry up to 6 passengers.

Can I book more than one trip in the same vehicle so my wedding party arrive before I do?

Yes, please contact us if you need to have more journeys than the standard booking options.

Can I have a different coloured ribbon on the car?

Yes, just let us know what colour you would like and we will do our best to find it.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured as a wedding car business, including public liability insurance. We can supply documents on request.

Can you carry children in the car?

Unfortunately we cannot carry children under 3 yrs. Children over 3 yrs and under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a responsible adult and their parent/carer must have signed the consent to travel form. We are not able to supply booster seats.

Do you allow pets in the car?

No, pets are not allowed inside the car.

Will my dress fit?!

We are confident that most dresses will fit in our Beetles but you are welcome to come and have a look to make your own decision.

What happens if it rains?

Due to the car’s vintage the hood must remain up during any inclement weather. You can see from the gallery that the Beetle still looks fabulous with the hood up, and if the weather improves enough for the hood to dry out, we are happy to pull over and put it down for you. We also carry two golf-sized ivory umbrellas in the car to ensure you arrive looking your best.

What happens if it is icy or snowy?

Unfortunately we are not able to take the vintage vehicles out in wintry conditions. We do not usually cover weddings between October and February.

What happens if there is a problem with the car?

In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the car, we will try to have the car repaired or will offer an alternative vehicle to ensure you reach your destination in time.

What do I do if I need to cancel my booking?

You will need to inform us in writing. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to your wedding you will receive a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit. If you cancel your booking less than 30 days prior to your wedding, you will be required to pay the full amount. We strongly suggest you ensure you have wedding insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

I need to make some changes to the journey we had planned, what should I do?

If your booking has been confirmed please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary amendments to the plans. Changes may be subject to additional costs.

What time will you arrive to pick me up?

You tell us what time to pick you up but we will always arrive early to give you peace of mind. You won’t be charged for this, even if we get to you half an hour before your booking time!

What if the chauffeur gets lost?

We will have a mobile sat nav in the car with us to ensure we find you. We will also endeavour to do a test run prior to your wedding day to make sure there are no problems in finding that little church or hotel in the middle of nowhere.

Do you cover more than one wedding in a day?

No, we only ever have one booking per vehicle per day so we can give you our full attention without rushing off to another wedding.

Do you wait with the car during our ceremony?

Usually the chauffeur will wait with the car, depending on how long the waiting time is.

What kind of vehicles do you have?

Our Beetle Seren is a 1977 Triple White convertible Beetle, imported from the USA. “Triple White” means she has white bodywork, white seats and a white hood. Emmy-Lou is a modern 2009 convertible Beetle. Charlie is a 1967 Deluxe Micro Bus. Alfie is a 2012 Edition 25 T5 Caravelle.

What does the chauffeur wear?

Our chauffeurs usually wear a smart suit or chauffeur’s uniform, including the hat, but we can change this to suit your theme if you have something different in mind, within reason!

You said you might take photos but I would rather you didn’t – what should I do?

No problem, just let us know on the booking form.

We offer a tailored service for your big day, from choosing the colour of ribbon to planning photograph stops en route to your venue. We hope we have thought of every last detail so you can sit back and enjoy your journey in these very special vehicles.

We are a husband and wife team and have been running our family business since 2013. We have a passion for VW’s which, combined with our enthusiasm, pride and professionalism, we hope will give you everything you are looking for when booking transport for your big day.

What’s Included?

We offer a full chauffeur-driven service. For every booking the VWs will be dressed in the ribbon colour of your choice, and will be valeted inside and out. If you fancy something a little more creative to decorate the vehicles we will be happy to discuss your ideas! We only ever cover one wedding per vehicle per day so you will have our undivided attention on your special day.

Locations We Cover

We cover Milton Keynes and parts of Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. We limit our vintage vehicles to destinations within a 30 mile radius. If you are a little further out we may be able to help – call us to discuss your requirements.

We appreciate how important it is to provide you with the peace of mind you get from a high quality service on your big day, which is why our vehicles are maintained to a high standard.

We are fully insured and licensed for wedding car hire with public liability insurance and we will be pleased to show you our documentation on request.

Standard hire is for a maximum of 3 hours from pick up.

Food and drink is not permitted in the vehicles unless by prior consent.

Prices are banded based on the total distance to be travelled from the vehicles’ base with a limit of 80 miles total.

Passenger numbers may be restricted due to Covid 19.

Our vintage vehicles are not available during the winter months.

We are not licensed to cover proms.

Please note we are legally unable to transport children under the age of 3.
